What does it mean to have an Inheritance from God?

This is a post from last year. Still very true…

One of the things I am studying right now is exactly that question. What does it mean to be a daughter of the King — and by extension to have an inheritance from Him? I’m trying to get a head-start on a Beth Moore study I’ll be leading for the ladies at our church starting in January.

The springing off place for me and the study is Psalm 16:6: the boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I love that verse!

For years, I’ve been stressing to the ladies at our church the importance of understanding who we are in Christ. What it means to be a co-heir. To
see ourselves as God sees us… And these last months, I’ve felt God saying, “that’s been good. Now it’s time to move deeper into understanding what that means in terms of inheritance and authority.” I’m so excited to dig deep. To move into what God has next.

Here’s the promo in case you want to look at this as a possible study for you and some friends. I’ve watched the first two sessions and already have lots to chew on. Let’s commit to going deeper! Want to join me?
