Arms of Deliverance

The day has arrived! I’m giving away an autographed copy of Tricia Goyer’s latest WWII novel, ARMS OF DELIVERANCE. Here’s your chance to win a copy of this book.

All you have to do is leave a comment (you don’t have to be a blogger member to post). But in that comment tell me what group of women Tricia focused on in this book. Hint #1 check out the July 11 post which contains an interview with Tricia about how she she developed the idea for this book. Hint #2, it wasn’t female pilots this go round. Also, be sure to leave your name, so I can track you down if you win. I’ll hold the drawing this weekend. Good luck!

  1. If I tell, everyone will copy! 😉

She focuses on women birthed children for the Reich.

I’ve never read a novel of this genre, but so many have spoke so highly of it, I’m willing to give it a shot!

  2. Well, Michelle has it right… all I have to do is see what Michelle and Janna have to say!
In ARMS OF DELIVERANCE, Tricia Goyer must focus on the women who bore children for the sake of Hitler’s 3rd Reich!

I’ve learned most of my history through historical fiction, starting in elementary school (in the Dark Ages) with the old orange
Silhouette biographies. I found out later that these were highly innacurate, but I loved them.

I’d love to read your books, Cara!

  3. I’ve never seen or done bloggin but I read the one about spa night. Oh what a night. Comfy tootsies. Well this is what i could gather from her interview. Could be wrong. By the cover I thought it was about WWII nurses but in her interview it mentioned these area; Lebanese women birthing babies in the Reich, female war reporters, B-17 bombers and a Nazi officer in search of something (I’d say God) but have to read the book. Let me know when I can find a copy to read. Historical fiction is a challenge for me. So very real, like your standing and experiencing it with the character.

  4. The book deals with women who bore children for the Third Reich…and she mentions the brave female war correspondents, too…

It sounds like a very interesting read for this history buff!

  5. It sounds like it is about the women who birthed children for the Third Reich, though it also sounds like it could involve the female journalists (they didn’t sound like they key characters, though).

Thanks for sharing your insights on so many authors and life!

  6. Hi Cara
Tricia focuses on the young women who birthed babies for the Reich in the Lebensborn homes in Nazi Europe.

She also mentions the female war reporters.

Many thanks for an interesting blog.
    God bless

  7. At first it sounds like it’s about the young women who birthed children for the Reich, but the front cover also seems to indicate it is about the female war reporters. Sounds interesting! 🙂 This is my first blog comment ever. Don’t you feel privileged, Cara?! Ha!
