Christmas Giveaway #3: Young Adult Titles

Cara Uncategorized 15 Comments

In a year I’ll have a teenager. My first, and the thought is daunting. I’m not sure there can ever be enough good tools to help parents navigate those teen years successfully with their children. That is why I am THRILLED to bring you this collection of non-fiction books.

Praying for Your Future Husband is an amazing book by Tricia Goyer and Robin Jones Gunn that I used with tweens at our church. It’s perfect for teens, but can be used with younger girls. The idea behind the book is to help girls turn their
interest into an avenue that will bear fruit.

And I’ve raved about Nicole O’Dell‘s Hot Buttons books before. These are books all parents of teens and tweens should run out and get right now. They are small books loaded with information that will help parents have the tough conversations with their kids about the issues they will confront.

I’ll send these three books to one lucky person. Just follow the form below. Thanks!

  1. These books look amazing! I have one teen and one tween, so I need all the help I can get! (My kids are pretty awesome, though! Most of the time…)

    Thanks for offering this giveaway!

  2. I left a comment and then deleted it once I looked at my bookshelf and saw the book “Praying for Your Future Husband” as I don’t want anyone to miss out on these great books! I just don’t want you to think I’m trying to cheat since I clicked the 2 pts for commenting!

This is a very good book and I wish I’d had it when I was younger! At 36 it seems God has different plans than me (go figure!) and any possible future husband!

  3. Praying for your future husband would be my choice of these to read, but I am certain they all have something we can use. Everyone can use guidance about parenting, too!

  4. I think parents should always stay grounded in God’s word and love their children unconditionally. It helps a lot! I should know, since I’m a teen! 🙂
