Today I’m delighted to bring you the set of my friend Tricia Goyer’s Spanish Civil War series. I learned a lot by watching her write this series. In its pages, she transports the reader to a complex war that became a testing ground for many new techniques applied in World War II.
For reasons beyond her control, Sophie finds herself alone in the war-torn Spanish countryside. What was once a thriving paradise has become a battleground for fascist soldiers and Spanish patriots. She is caught up in the escalating events
when the route to safety is blocked and fighting surrounds her. On her darkest night, Sophie takes refuge with a brigade of international compatriots. Among these volunteers, she pledges to make the plight of the Spanish people known around the world through the power of art.

A dream I have for 2013 is that the Lord will come.
Traveling to see family I haven’t seen in years. It sometimes seems so hard to take the time or spend the money to do it!

Im looking forward to hopefully doing some traveling, and prayers for good health for my entire family!
I would love to get my health issues sorted out so I don’t have to be on such a restrictive diet!
I’m still praying about what my dream for this coming year is. God answered a major dream in 2012 so it’s an exciting challenge to find that next one.
I don’t exactly have a dream but I do have hopes, one of them is to travel some.
I’d love for us to be able to own a place of our own in 2013.
