About the Book

A Promise Kept
Josie Wilson’s perfect life as a newlywed is shattered by a terrible loss. When her husband Art asks her to open their home to a distant cousin who’s been evacuated from England, she must choose between giving in to despair or opening her heart again.

A Promise Born
The Navy WAVES give Evelyn Happ the chance to get out of Washington, DC, and contribute to the war effort. When the actions of a spy put both Evelyn and soldier Mark Miller under suspicion, their loyalties to the country and each other are tested. Will their blossoming relationship survive, or be another casualty of war?

A Promise Forged
Kat Miller earns a spot on a team in the All-American Girls Professional Softball League, but quickly finds things aren’t as glamorous as she imagined. Events in reporter Jack Raymond’s career have left him cynical, but when Kat walks into his life, the fiery, young softball player somehow climbs the walls around his heart and urges him to hope again. When lies fly and the league teeters on the edge of failure, will Kat and Jack’s new love survive?
