Creativity Requires Courage

Last weekend I keynoted a small writer’s conference in Chicago. It was an honor to be asked, and after praying a lot, I spoke about how God fills us with the ability to understand and write literature. Then I talked about how walking in our creative gifts takes courage. I made the graphic on the left into square photos that I handed out to the attendees so they could have a reminder as they write that God is calling them to courage. I love how it turned out!

That inspired me to share more of the graphics I’ve made with you. Often, I print them to include in packages I mail to readers. They are a small way to say thank you, and who doesn’t need another bookmark or something pretty to post around a desk? I hope you enjoy these! Also be sure to read to the end where I share a couple book deals with you.

Haven’t we all felt like books were a portable magic? Or that we live 1000 lives through the books we read?

I created this one to go with Delayed Justice, since The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe plays a role in Jaime’s story. I adore how it turned out!

And here’s one for the writers among us. I love this quote because it is so true!

Finally, as I’m typing this Wednesday evening, Imperfect Justice is still on ebook sale for $1.99 on Amazon. I don’t know how long this will last, so grab it while you can.

Also, Canteen Dreams is free on Amazon right now and on all ebook formats starting the 9th…for one week only. If you haven’t read my award-winning World War II novel based on my grandparents romance, then this is a great time to grab it. I hope you  enjoy both of these books. Thanks for joining me on this journey.
