Once there was an author who read voraciously trying to figure out where her place in publishing was. Her agent told her to read Everywhere that Mary Went by Lisa Scottoline. This author read it…and loved it. And went on to read many more of Lisa Scottoline’s books.

Fast forward ten years and this author was now writing legal romantic suspense for a major publisher and headed to International Thriller Writers and had the delight of a couple quick conversations with Lisa.

Fast forward another couple years, and a pandemic is raging. This same author binges the Rosato & Associates and Rosato & DiNunzio series while walking and trying to imagine her next series. She also connects with Lisa through media and Lisa agrees to read Lethal Intent.

Said author bites her nails while waiting to see what Lisa will say…if she even has time to read the book. Then said author sobs hysterically when she reads Lisa’s incredibly kind endorsement. It was literally a dream moment.

“I loved Cara Putman’s LETHAL INTENT and rooted for her heroine Caroline Bragg through every twist and turn. This legal thriller perfectly captures what it’s like to grow from law clerk to lawyer, and when Caroline finds herself faced with a heartbreaking ethical dilemma that leads to the corporate battle of her life, she confronts the challenge with strength and resources she never knew she had. Putman seamlessly blends the story with a wonderfully inspiring romance, too. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of LETHAL INTENT!” Lisa Scottoline
